Frequently asked questions
Common questions about PowerOS inventory and POS software for businesses in Pakistan and outside Pakistan — including how the till keeps selling when the internet is down.
What is PowerOS?
PowerOS is a solar and battery business system for Pakistan. It covers POS billing, offline sales during load shedding, panel/inverter/battery stock, old-battery scrap trade-in, customer and supplier khata, solar quotations, warranty/service, multi-branch warehouses, and owner reports.
Is PowerOS only for solar shops?
It is built for energy retail: battery/UPS dealers, solar panel shops, inverter traders, and solar EPC installers. If your counter sells batteries, panels, inverters, structures, or cables, PowerOS fits better than a generic grocery POS.
Does offline sales work in load shedding?
Yes. The Offline Sales till installs once while online, then keeps selling with no internet. Sales queue on the device and sync to stock and khata when the connection returns. Scrap trade-in stays on the online POS.
Can we take old batteries as trade-in?
Yes, on the online POS and Scrap module. You set rates by battery type, weigh scrap, apply credit on the sale, track scrap stock, and dispatch to recyclers. Offline Sales focuses on product sales only.
Do you support customer khata / credit?
Yes. Named customers can pay cash, bank, partial, or full credit. Balances, credit limits, and aging reports are included so dealers stay in control.
Is PowerOS available outside Pakistan?
Yes. ZIIBAY SOFT provides PowerOS in Pakistan and internationally. Pricing on the website is in PKR; overseas clients receive a written quote.
How long does setup take?
Most single-counter shops start within days: product listing, price tiers, walk-in customer, and staff training. Multi-branch and data migration are quoted under Enterprise.
